Cr9ehix-9

I ordered a set of these and haven't put them in or removed my current (standard) ones for replacement. I have a question though... I opened the box for them and noticed the threads don't go all the way to the gasket like I'm pretty sure the current ones do. The threads stop about 1/4" down from the gasket. Have I just forgotten after 5 days what the current ones look like? Do all the cr9ehix-9's anyone has seen have the threads like this?

Do the gaskets appear to be a little thicker than the normal plugs?

This is what the CR9EHIX-9 for the Fireblade (all models) is supposed to look like... can't imagine that the VFR version should be too different?

Yes, you are good. Those plugs have threads like that, threads on the heads will match, if you could actually see them down in there.

Thats the same plug number, but the 4 or 5 threads nearest the gasket (normal size compared to the old ones) are gone... and the diameter of metal left is the same as the outside threads, so I was worried that it would act as a "shoulder"... but if the head is cut that way that's fine.
