I'm claiming that the bike was crashed and they painted the black over the factory red, leaving the center of the bike red.

Looks like a good scheme for a RWB paint job.

Swap the black for white, leave the red, and replace the silver stripes with blue.

OK.....I slept on it, went back and looked at it again and I still think that the owner should have stuck with the all red or all black and lose the Darth Vader windscreen. It's a little bit like going back in your scrap book and looking at the photo of the girl you took to JR prom and asking yourself "what was I thinking?".
