So, she's still new to me (and this week she's back in the shop where the awesome dealer is replacing the RR / stator for me!!) and I just found this photo.
I spent about 20 minutes picking off and goo goning the tail lights. It seems that the previous owner wanted a very stealth (and unspeakably safe) tail section. so he taped over most of the tail lights.
Needless to say, the tail lights are perfectly preserved, and are now bright and safely saving my fat arse (when the bike comes home)
Yeah, the F&F boy racer crowd love to tape/tint their "tails" to give it their cages that dark brooding character and scare pedestrians in their tracks as they blast by, their giant O.D. "fart" cans spluttering away! You sure the previous owner hasn't been "street showing" you bike, leaving dark burnout rings for their babes to wow about. blink.gif

well, i know that the bike looks to be in good shape, low miles, and the did a decent job of installing air horns (two, right side, rear fairing, using the relay and fused from the battery!) and she's got new rubber on her.
so, while the previous owner may have been a total waste of space, the new one will love her. after the japanese characters come off the windscreen...
