90 Degree Valve Stems

I'm looking for 90 degree valve stems for my '99 & '00 VFRs. Does anyone know if there is a source for these? My bike is at a
dealership for new tires, and I'm being told that there aren't any made for the VFRs... I*'m wanting to wave the "B.S." flag! Please let me know if any of you are running 9o degree valve stems - Thanks!

Viffer800canuck will pop up shortly - he has some on his VFR.

I have some 90� valve stems that I'll be installing on my rims come next tire change.

My dad gave me the stems, so I don't know where he got them. But, they are similar to these: http://prestigewheel.com/cgi-bin/commerce....on&key=2990.

They are a stock item on my Valkyrie, BUT they are surrounded by a plastic cage, some claim it is necessary to prevent too much stem flex from rotational forces.

My dad's Goldwing had those plastic cages too. After he put his new metal stems in, he took them off since he didn't need them anymore. The stock stems have a rubber base, but the new stems he put in are mostly metal. No flex at all. fing02.gif

They come in two sizes, you need the large ones.

Yes, that plastic support is vital for a stem like that.

FYI, Ariete is just the distributor; they are made by Bridgeport in Italy. (Hence the "B" cast into the other side...)

I mounted them on my '99. Got them from www.motowheels.com.

I have 90 degree stems on mine, from a Goldwing (without the cage).

I think they were about $12 a piece.
