Has anyone installed these in bar grips on a VFR with stock bars. I know they work on a conventional motorcycle handle bar, but I wasn't sure about clipon's.

-There is no where to bring the wires out, you would have to drill a hole in the end of the clip on.
-you would have to remove the bar end weights and the vibration damper inside the bars for them to fit. Then come up with a new way to mount different bar ends.
In my eyes, the dual star's or the kimplex heaters are hard to beat.
Here's a better reason: Heating the right clip-on is not going to heat the right grip at all, due to the plastic throttle tube. The left one would probably work OK, but I think you'd be wasting a lot of precious wattage vs. heated grips.
