Grab Rail Question - 5 Gen

Went to put on the grab rails for the first time in about a year and found that one of the hollow aluminum inserts is missing (these go in the bolt holes). Just looked at the parts fiche and the inserts are not a separate order item which means I'd have to order the entire grab rail! pissed.gif

Anybody have a grab rail with inserts laying around (or just the longer of the two inserts) that they'd be willing to part with? I REALLY don't want to order a $64 (Service Honda) grab rail just for a friggin $0.25 insert.... OR... has anyone every encountered this problem and found a good fitting solution without having to order the blasted grab rail?

This would be a very easy part to make for someone who has access to a lathe.

O.D. = 11.75mm (.463in)
I.D. = 8.65mm (.341in)
Front Spacer Length = 18.27mm (.719in)
Rear Spacer Length = 26.8mm (1.055in)

It's made out of tin-plated steel.

I'm in the same bind. I've lost one insert. I'm planning on machining a set or two out so that I have spares sometime this winter at work. Just gotta wait for the time. I'll let you know when they're ready to go.
