Took a little trip and had my FI light come on at times. At first it was only with high beams, and the light went off when I turned off the high beams. Later, the light came on and wouldn't go off, until I turned off the bike, then back on.
I have a GPS with power drawing from the battery.
2000 w/24k.
Any ideas?
Don't know about that. Pull the codes, see what it says.
If there are no codes, and the FI light comes on with increased load, ie lights on, stoplight etc, then it may be a poor earth. Loads of info on this on this site. Check out the electrics section.

Most sensors are dependent on having the right voltage....I would check your charging system very well....I multi-meter is your friend, even the $10 ones from Harbor Freight. A Voltmeter on the bike is even better for monitoring.

Have you had the airbox open, recently? I don't know why it would happen, with the high beams on, (Other than what tightwad said).
