Hi Guys, I was wondering if some one can give me some feedback on the installation of the Turbo City FPR on a 1998 5th Gen. My new pipe and FPR should be coming soon and I did a search and couldn't find anything here on the site for any help on the install. I did find that someone had a 48 psi one made and was wondering if that was the norm? Any help would be great. Do I need and special tools? Thanks everyone.

I did mine, and it was fairly easy. AFAIK, the standard setting is 42 PSI, up from the Honda spec of 36 PSI.
My bike definetly runs better with the new FPR, I've got a derestricted airbox and custom dual exhaust. I wouldn't go with any higher setting than 42 PSI.
One thing that was a bit of a bug was that the vacuum nipple on the FPR would foul the "rake" that actuates all 4 starter valves.
Rather than remove that part, and risk futzing up the starter valve synch, I simply bent the vacuum nipple GENTLY out of the way (and as little as possible to get it to clear) with a deep 1/4" drive socket, I think it was an 8mm or so.
Then, after getting it tightened properly, I once again GENTLY bent the nipple back straight again.
You'll see exactly what I mean when you go to remove the stock FPR.

Hey thanks fo ryour reply. There was someone here that have an after market exhaust, K&N a/f and a PCii so Tim from TC had told him to go with a 48 psi reg. It seems to be working great for him from his posting.
I have one in the top of my toolbox that I've been meaning to put in for a while. It's for a 6th gen, but don't see why it would be too different. If I can remember tomorrow, I'll take a look.
