These...

I know there has been LED mirror discussion on here... but I can't find anything.

These mirrors look interesting. I'm looking to remove the factory signals and try these, but was curious if anyone has had experience with them?

On the second "crap" mirror
"Racing" mirror is the first clue. WTF is a racing mirror?

Back to the OP, those look decent but most of the other stuff in his store is pretty cheesy.

I looked at those too....and am still curious about them.

The only thing with ebay stuff is sometimes theyl sell something that is listed for a certain bike, but it turns out its more "universal" than it should be. At first glance, alot of honda mirrors look the same as far as their mounting, etc....but little differences could pop up. For instance, i know the VFR mirrors have a slightly thicker mounting base in order to move them out a bit further, to prevent you from just looking at your shoulders when you use them. Other ones will fit our bikes, but may be slightly different.

Id still love to find someone whos experienced these exact units that you posted, though.

One look at those hokey ball-jointed, single bolt mirror bases tell me that they are indeed crapola.
My brother got something like those years ago from cycle gear. He gave them back after one day of use. you cannot see a clear image from the plastic mirror that they use, plus the mirror flops around out of adjustment from the slightest bumps on the road, despite tightening the base ball joint as tight as you dare to.......Crapola! I'm wondering how those things can still be sold out there.
Also, stay away from any mirrors with fake carbon fiber printed patterns on it.......I guarantee that they're mostly crappy too!

They have the potential to be a nice combination, they look enough (to me) like the Y2K (save the extra $40 for uno Y2K) mirrors, and have a little extra light. But... for instance if the bases don't match Lobster's extenders then they won't be much good in the looks department.

PM VFRD member PAPP...he bought something similar last year and had a less than favorable experience.

I am interested in where this goes as I'm looking for a good alternative to the 2000 OEM 180$ mirrors I want.

I was looking at the other LED mirrors on ebay but became real interested in the OEM Suzuki LED mirror swap done in a Group buy here, just need to convince "someone" to make another run of mounting blocks and we are all set !

 Something that Fabien "lookback" Foret needed a few seasons ago in WSS.

I wonder of he's been cured of that nowadays????

I had a pair of those once upon a time. Complete crap, same mirror with a carbon fiber print, what was I thinking? They were great for making sure that my elbows were still there while I rode.

One word: Junk!

My friend tried something similar on his 1000rr and took them off after a week. Now they are nice paperweights on his desk. Sometimes you get what you pay for...kinda like cheap braking components...

You could ask Darthbling for the CAD design on the blocks and then find a shop to do them for you but it will be pricey. The group buy was around $55 for just the mounts if there were 25 sets ordered. And then you have to make the bolt that goes in each block as well but having a set myself I can say it was definitely top notch design and work done by Darthbling (which is also why I think he said he wasn't going to do another GB as it took a lot of time to get everything assembled).
The GSXR mirrors don't come with LED's either. I believe it was yet another mod done by Veefer Madness on his mirrors. :goofy:

Yeah, I've those exact mirrors. Although the company in the states were completely and totally ignorant, and useless. So I got them out of England instead. The signals in the mirrors suck to put it nicely hahaha See I used VHT Lens paint and then clear coat on my signals (2002) and wanted something to get me past inspection if they said anything about the factory signals being tinted. They got me through inspection just fine.
I will say during the day no one can see them if they are at any amount of distance away, but at night time they are a bit better.
Long story short, they are doing what I want them to do just fine.

If this is the same company I think it is, out of Cali right? The were complete asses. Atleast you got a response, it took me 5 e-mails before I even got a PFO letter.

I was thinking about the same thing and looking at these on Ebay ...

Id rather hit the DarthBling setup but I havent heard back whether or not there are any mounting blocks left yet. I have also offered to find a local c&c machine to do a new run myself, hopefully I will hear shortly.
