Since so many people seem to admire the 25th Anniversary Edition, I figured maybe I'd start a picture thread of various 25th Anniversary bikes...

I'll go first...

This thread is just begging for a nice pic of a RWB with white rims. I've thought about it but I prefer riding over cleaning wheels. Here is a pic of the kids.

I dont understand why the colors arent exact. I like the original colors best. Red white and blue, baby.

The new colors are VERY similar to my first gen color scheme.

RWB - is it just me or does this tri-color add class to the VFR's lines? I love it when other riders ask can they take a piture of it. To date, I've had an older couple on a Harley, one GSXR rider, one Ducati dealership manager, several VFR owners and a truck driver at a rest stop. The funny thing is, they never ask me to pose with it.

RWB in Oregon

This series of pictures makes me want to create a RWB calender. Great back ground choices and awesome tribute pics to Honda's tri-color. :fing02:

Off topic, but are those shortened pipes? What are they? They have to be 6 inches shorter than the pipes one post up...

And several users have custom powder coated or painted their rims white. It was not an option.

Back on topic
Love those Oregon pics, wow! New desktop!

The white rims definitely look the best on the RWB, but what a PITA to keep 'em that way (remembering from my former 2nd gen RWB). I found that S-100 worked about the best for white wheel maintenance, but it ain't cheap.

I just bought the three part white pearl paint!!! I'm going to do the wheels before I ever ride the darn thing!!!
#21
Someone in one of the VFR forums posted a pic of a 25th Anniversary RWB with the 8 spoke white wheel on the bike and it looked fookin awesome!!! I've been looking for the pic but can't seem to find it? Anyone else seen it before?

I still love this thread. I know longer have a RWB, but still periodically change my desktop background to pictures from this thread.

Here's my contribution to your very biased RW&B theme. :woohoo:

I remember seeing a 6th gen with a duplicate '86 VFR paint scheme somewherer here a few years ago.
IMO looked much better than the factory RWB job.
