I haven't been able to find a single photo of a 2009 VFR in its all black scheme other than the boring official Honda photo. Has anyone bought one yet and taken any photos?

Thanks

i've seen a few on eBay. all of the auctions had a number of photos from various angles.

i like the color but think, overall, the bike has too much black: black bodywork, black frame, black radiators, black subframe, black swingarm, black forks, black wheels, black brake carriers, etc. it's overkill.

Unfortunately, no one has bothered to find a pic of the 2009 because everyone has bee searching for the ever elusive official pic of the 7th gen VFR. Apparently, It's rarer than pictures of the Jackelope , Batboy and Bigfoot and many fakes abound in the internet!
Anyway, nothing has changed with the 6th gen in the whole 7 years it's been with us. They giant Honda has been sleeping and using the VFR as it's pillow.

Windshield is darker on the 09' and with no dark edges and the gas tank is shaped a little differently on the 09'. Also the bar ends seem silver on the 09' but black on the 06...hmmmm..

Yes, it is!!!! I mean look at the URL on the picture. That's practically www.honda.com. :goofy:

Come on, people. When a new VFR arrives, you'll hear it from mother Honda. They are making noises about new V-4 bikes with one arriving in early 2010. Let's just wait to hear it from the horse's mouth instead of running off like salivating dogs to every site that whips up a Photochop and quotes anonymous insiders.

I've seem the Stock honda photos of the new 09's color scheme, I was just asking for owner's photos of the new 09 in real life photos. I know there is no difference but the color, but I like the black details that have changed, I just wanted to see them in real photos.

And no that is not the 2010, its one of many fakes produced when there was speculation of a redesign in 09.

When (if) Honda rolls out the new 7th Gen (at least until the 8th Gen speculation begins :goofy:)

In 2008, wasn't that the 2009 model? :goofy:

Ah, but if that was a real pic of an all-new 7th gen, I'd probably start saving now for my downpayment! ;)

No way the gas tank is shaped differently. Economically unjustifiable to change 7 years into a generation unless there's collision liabilities. You're seeing variations in the photography lighting.

Differences I see: windscreen edge and faded tint, bar ends go to silver, rotors (but could be since the 09 is with ABS and the 06 is without) and the radiators, wheels, frame, swing arm, and hydraulic reservoirs are all blacked out.

and the 09 has no passenger grab handles!

;)

somebody likes to beat themselves up...LOL
just left the mother ship site, the color for 09 is like a model"T" any color you want as long as its black, for 08 its silver or silver....subtle changes between the bikes but if you can see a physical change mebbe I need new glasses....let the debate rage!

Thats a European bike right? I love the VFR emblem... we don't get that in the US, instead get a cheesy interceptor sticker on the rear of the bike. Pretty pictures, it looks great in black. I wanted to see similar shots of the new 09 bike, which has black powder coated trim/forks/frame etc. Thanks for posting those pics.

AS usual, Honda has its corporate head up its corporate ass: the bike is great, but lots of people WILL NOT ride a black bike ( I'm one) and it should also be offered in the traditional red.....or any color other than black !!!!!!

just my 2 quid.

We don't get the black up North  , ours is white and black has the euro badging, seen one at the local dealer, very very nice looking bike. I'm going to see if they can order me the euro badge VFR for my 07

Just curious, why will you and other people absolutely not ride a black bike?

Visibility. Studies have shown rider's with a black helmet are like 50% more likely to get hit than riders in a white helmet. Granted your helmet is your highest point, but any increased visibility helps.
