A bit light on gear to my taste to be leaning that much, but again, it's his knees and skin. :( Still an amazing pic.

Agreed. That's about an inch of space before his hard bags are throwing up sparks. With proper technique, he'd have several degrees of lean left in reserve for safety.

I had a few good rides on R&R in Bankok, back in the late 60's. Had no problem with their rubber then.... Monk :blush:

I don't want to beat a dead horse in the ground,but the reason I sent back the tire made in Thailand wasn't that it was made in Asia rather that the tires from that plant have received bad reports on other MC forums.Also a new plant has less experienced workers which makes a huge effect on quality.The BT-016 tire I bought was made in Japan the difference is they have been producing tires for quite some time.
They may if fact be a good tire buy one and test it let us know,but @180 I don't want to be the one to do so.

Don't worry about it Mike! You have to feel comfortable with your bike and gear no matter what anyone else thinks and shouldn't have to justify that to anyone! :fing02:

It is, but they go away quickly, 3500 and mine was toast, pushed it further than I should have.
For the money I went back to the 021's, that and B-stone had a sale, buy 4 get 2 free to dealers,,,, bought 3 fronts, 3 rears for 550.00 :biggrin: :biggrin:

Thanks everyone for the comments. Definately a good momento of my first trip to "The Dragon", and one of my last rides of the season (it's looking like). Things are getting all kinds of hectic starting school next month, now I'm engaged to be married next month as well, combining both families, and getting the kids ready for school next month as well. At this rate I might get to ride again next year. ROFL. Gonna take me a while before I can figure out how to be just irritating enough to be told to get out of the house for a while. :wheel:
