Removing Baffles

Im picking up some leo vince cans for the vfr today and im wondering how to go about removing the baffles?
Ive heard people using pliers or a broom stick.  Could someone walk me through the process please.

Being new, they will come out easily but they are an interference style fit so some effort will always be needed.  Don't forget, they do have a lock screw too!
