Just a quick link to my headlight mod. The S.D. kit $70. It has a hook up to the horn that flashes the high and low
for sec or two when you honk the horn, which is a Stebel BTW.
Thx VFRD

Yes you kinda have to. It has a ambient light sensor thats part of the kit. The lights wont flash once its gets dark outside

Is there any tech info on how to wire the unit like this (lows flashing or lows steady with highs flashing - as in the vid) - or can you describe how you wired it? I called S.D. and the guy rambled on about searching GL 1800 forums for how they do it - but no schematics or support offered. Any help would be appreciated. Many thanks.
I have this kit too. What horn wire (or part of) did you install the kit's horn wire to? I highly recommend Signal Dynamic's Back Off Device to modulate the brake lights. They have one called the WigWam, which flashes the two brake light bulbs independently. Easy install and only $35 or so.
