if a tyre is produced according to specs with ingredients to spec, why would a Thai produced Michelin be inferior?

How do you tell where the tire was made? I just bought a Road2 rear for my bike but I don't see anything on the tire that says where it was made??
Should be cast or burned into the sidewall of the tire! :cheerleader:
