I just got my PP2ct's installed today that I bought from sportbike track gear. I paid $270 including shipping and another $30 for tax once they got here. $42 for mounting and balancing the front and another $10 for balancing the rear at another shop cause the first didn't have an adapter for the VFR wheel.
Also changed out all the brake pads and bled the brakes and clutch.
Been a busy day. Now I need to go for a ride but it's raining and I don't really want to break in the new treads in the rain while seating the new brake pads and verifying the bleeding job while trying out riding with glasses for the first time.:wheel:

On edit, I took it out for a spin and the tires feel great. The narrower contact with the road means the bike isn't trying to change direction every time it passes over a road height/tilt irregularity.

By the way, I contacted Tires Unlimited to see if the tires were manufactured recently, and not simply old tires sold cheap. They responded immediately, stating:

I can understand your concern about this, because several other companies out there sell older tires for cheap, but not us.
All of the Michelin Pilot Power tires we stock are fresh inventory, that we have received during the last 6 months from Michelin, that were made in either 2009 or late 2008.
Thank you and have a great day."

Yeah. I've been very happy with TiresUnlimited. Their deals are always unbeatable. Think the last deal I jumped on was a set of Pirelli Rosso's for the 4th gen for $150 shipped. Got them the next day too, but I was in the same state as them (OHIO)
Looking to buy new rubber again when on the PNW Troutdale trip. Worked pretty good in Colorado (PR2ct mounted for $305 US). Shout out to Faye Myer there.
Gees, I'd like to order a set and have them shipped to somewhere close by, then figure out how to get them mounted / balanced when in OR.
