I read a lot on hear, but dont post much. Cause I dont own one.......yet.
Im back in the market and really have looked into this bike. I love the lines and the option for hard bags(which i truely will get asap). Do you think this is a good deal? How much would you guys pay for a bike like this?
2007 Red (non-ABS) with 400 miles. In perfect condition and BONE- STOCK. the guy is asking $8500 but i feel that it might be a bit high for that bike. I saw a 08 Busa with exhaust for $9000. KBB is stating that a trade in is worth about 4800, while retail is about 7000. Any sort of help will be great. Thanks. ADAM
You can get a brand new version of the same bike for less. And not that it will need it, but it will come with a warranty.

ABS with OEM luggage with few miles, $7k. That would probably still be a bit high.

The most common price I remember for a
new bike like that was $6999 or less. I think they are still out there for that. You might have to go to a neighboring state, but you'd be hard-pressed to even hit $8000 all-in with taxes and registration. Check eBay.
i have checked ebay. Unfortunately there is not a whole lot in the Chicagoland area. Ill try to look around at the honda dealers and see what they have in stock.

See your other thread on this and my reply with the eBay links. Find a local dealer that has the '07 in stock and take those quotes to them to see if they'll match the price. Good luck.
If I could I'd fly out to New Jersey myself and buy the new RWB '07 and x-country it back home!
I paid $7100 OTD (except taxes because I bought it out of state) for my 07 RWB w/ABS in October. You can definitely find a better deal than that. Check cycletrader.com. That's where I found mine.

PASS... A quick check of Cycletrader.com reveals MANY DEALERSHIPS offering left-over new '07 VFRs at less than $7000. The link below is just an example of the adds. This one isn't mine, isn't close to me, and again is just an example of what deals are to be found all over the country with some simple searching.
