Removing Remote Preload Adjuster

Swapping out the shock on 06 ABS and absolutely cannot figure out how get the remote preload adjuster past the cable that goes to the rear brake fluid line. At this point, I'm thinking one of two options, do a brake fluid flush, remove the brake line, or just remove the actual hydrolic preload adjuster.

So what happens if you remove that hydrolic preload adjuster? Does something blow up? Does is render the shock useless?

Thanks....

take a look a JasonSimths post here:Supension Upgrade

It is a pain.......

If you take it apart at the banjo bolt it will cause it to need to be recharged for the preload to work again.....
