Well it's an 08, but a new out of the crate 08 it's new to me.
After having several bikes since my last 03 VFR, I've been reminded of how well balanced a motorcycle it is too.
Not wicked fast like the CBR, but an incredible bike all the same.
Sargent seat inbound, but here it is.
And here is my 09 CBR.

OMG that is great!!!!
Thanks for the warm welcome.
lol, that was hilarious.
I've actually bought the VFR since she showed interest in sharing one of my passions with me.
Our vacation this year is to Monterey for the MotoGP. :woohoo:
Welcome, I really like the levers you make.....I wish all my bikes had them...the VFR does. http://www.vfrdiscussion.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif
Welcome and nice wheels y'all got there. Where in Texas are you? I lived in San Antonio a while back and woulda loved to have ridden a bike in the hill country...
Congrats on your new VFR and welcome to the forum! :)
And Foto, that was freakin' hilarious!
Thanks all.
pazzo is Italian for crazy. My last name rhymes with pistachio so they call me the "crazy nut".
I have CRG's shortys on the CBR and new levers will be next on the list after the seat. I love the shorties, but I'll have to go to ASV's or Pazzo's
I live in Boerne, outside of San Antonio, west on I-10 and was living in Austin last year.
San Antonio is even better for riding as it's closer to the really good roads and less traffic to get there.
After a couple of hours in the seat yesterday it was great! Love that V4 sound and power delivery.
And because I bought a new bike, we are getting the obligatory week of rain.
I didn't notice the lean-ness that I experienced in the 03 VFR. I bought an O2 eliminator which smoothed it out.
Did Honda do something with to alleviate the problem in later models?
Thanks again, great forum!
Welcome and congrats. Surprised to see a recently uncrated 08. There have been a lot of 07's lately, including mine, and there are some still available, but not many 08's.
Very nice. The CBR is a gem, too! Quite a pair!

It's stealthy fast. Although I love the italian red, it is a leo road sign for pull me over.
New Sargent seat came in. I ordered on Sat and rec'd it yesterday. It's a good looking seat and seemed very comfortable on the hour long ride I was able to take last night.
Check it.

It will break in and just get better. WOW, that was fast shipping; especially on such a large item. Where did you get it from? Sandhillpowersports has typically been about the best price on line.

How big are you? I'm a light weight 6' 165# and from what I have read these are better for the lighter people. I pick my bike up today, I think this will be one of my first upgrades.
I had a friend @ Cyclegear order it. It was slightly more expensive, but if I didn't like it, return was easier.
I'm @ about 175lbs, so hopefully it'll work good for me also.
