Where to buy OEM-like grips?

The 2005 I recently purchased has Helibars (i think), Dual Star heated grips (i think), Non-OEM grips installed over them, and Throttlemeisters on the ends. In retrospect, I guess I actually have more questions than I originally thought!

1. How do I tell for sure what brand my "helibars" are?
2. Can I adjust helibars back to the lower OEM position? Longer cables have been installed, will that be an issue?
3. How do I know if they'll accept OEM grips?
4. Where can I buy OEM or OEM-like grips? It seems as though they'd be
simple to find, but I can't find them listed anywhere.
5. Is there a special tool required to get the Throttlemeisters off?

Sorry for the information overload---I've been searching but I'm still a bit confused. Basically what I'm looking to do is to lower the "helibars" down to stock position and replace the foam grips with OEM ones while maintaining the heated grips and Throttlemeisters.

Any advice would be appreciated!

1. Take a picture and post it up here.
2. a.Helibars do not adjust. If your bars adjust, you either have convertibars, or a one-off equivalent.
b. Probably not, you should be able to route the extra cable out of the way.
3. Helibars and convertibars both accept OEM grips and throttle tubes.
4. Any dealership.
5. I don't know.

If you do have Helibars and want stock, I suggest you put up a "want to trade" on here and simply trade a member your helibars (or convertibars) for his or her stock bars.

Oh, and you'll probably need new heated handgrips if you change the bars. They can be hard to unstick without damaging them.
