New to the boards and to VFR's and looking for people's opinions on frame sliders. Have searched the forum and heard alot about R&G and Radar's sliders (This is a forum member who manufactures them I take it?) but has anybody had any ecperience with LighTech Frame Sliders

They do not require any cutting or major modification it would appear but how effective are they mounted that far to the center of the bike?

I've heard they get in the way of your feet when getting on and off the bike.

Haven't used them, but general consensus, is that it puts the pivot point, too far back, thus possibly causing more front side damage, than Radar's, RG, or motovation, sliders.

+1 to that. If it hits the grand it will pivot the bike forward into the turn signal area. Seen a couple GSXR guys do the same thing and the crashes turned out worse.
