7th gen mirrors on 6th gen? Discuss.

I'm wondering what the feasibility is of mounting 7th gen mirrors on a 6th gen VFR. I like the new mirrors with their integrated turn signals AND proper foldable design.

From the photos I've looked at, it would appear the the mounting angle is different and this may require a custom block to be made to fit between the 7th gen mirrors and the 6th gen fairing.

Oh yes it would take some doing, they bolt in almost vertically and the bolt pattern is longer. The 7th gen fairing is actually has holes formed in the two side peices, for the mirrors to fall into. Mirrors fit into the holes and bolt directly to the subframe.

The front cowl is 3 peices, two side peices, the front plate which the windshield is attached and the headlight housing holds them all in. The headlight is huge, it is bolted to the front subframe by 4 bolts. Everything about this bikes requires you to remove most of the plastics. to get to the next peice. I have had it all off now.
