Good touring grip?

i want to replace the stock grips on my 6th gen with something a little softer.

Any suggestions?

Slide some Grip Puppies over them. About $9.95, and very comfortable, albeit not so pretty.

Grip puppies work well in the warm and dry season, but if you are planning on a lot of touring and the cold is an issue go for heated grips, you can get thick grips that i found very comfy even when not heating. It might be that you need a thicker grip rather than something softer. Look for a showroom that might have some fitted and see what they feel like.

I have put on a set of Oury grips. Really like them. Soft but still firm enough for great control. Have to cut the end off as it is a closed grip.

Try a set of Pro-Grip Dual Sport grips, Model 714. They are $8.95 at Motorcycle Superstore. I have had them on the last three bikes I've had and they are nice - good grip, damp out vibration, and they look nice and hold up well.

Unless you are lazier and cheaper than me, dont just grab what is closest, because i can tell you that it will end in tears. ( too lazy to relace 'em, even though they suck)

Been using Pro Grip 719s for a few years - love em. Never tried the grip puppies.

Get a throttle lock - it'll help you out as well.
