Ohhhhh, thanks. I guess I hadn't read that part of the manual yet. I'm leaving for a 3500 mile trip on Friday. The zip tie will have to do the trick for a couple weeks.

I belive Crabenho is talking about the uppermost mounting point for the rear cowl / tail section fairing - the rubber surrounded nut/ threads that is on the subframe; not the idle adjust hole on the right side of the main frame.
Lol, Crabenho - I've lost both of those rubber nubbins inside the subframe too. Just last night I ordered some new ones because I was ordering other hardware. Previously I was using some small red zip ties that went through the mounting tab on the rear cowl and throughthe nubin-less hole on the subframe.

I just replaced my 3rd one saturday. BTW, it is better to lose them than to have them sieze on the bolt and spin when you try to unscrew it.
note: my rear cowl is STILL held on with a zip tie since my lower subframe bolt broke off last week.
