All the USA models had black seats - but judging from the wheels, that's not a USA model... ?

The OP is from Finland, so I'm going to guess "no" on that one...
Hopefully someone more familiar with the European models will chime in.
Yes, its not a US bike, A Finnish one, a -83
Its sade that the 83 Europe colors where the 84 US colors
Its for sale on a sale site, looks mint and is clamed to be orginal whit only 44tkms
I have tryed to look thro pics of VF750F:s, but fail to found a nother whit that colorcombo and a red seat, the only I found whit a red seat is this:

Looks pretty clean Kenth!
If the price is good and the motor sounds solid(no excessive clacking, indicating worn cams/cam chains/tensioners), then you'll likely be happy to own it. Just don't spend the better part of a decade restoring yours like I am...

Apparently both the blue an red seat have been superseded by the black seat, not sure what colour combination they originally came with.
That seat is from the original Black and Red color combo bike. The bike you are looking at is a 1983 with the color combo that was available in the US in 1984-85.
Too bad he wants so much $$$ for it. it would be nice to restore.

Lets Go!_edited.jpg
I recovered mine in black when I cut the seat down, the red seat would sit on the pier in Coronodo California all day and when I jumped on to ride home in the afternoon, it would be sticky and pull all the lint off of my jeans, making the seat look constantly dirty.

I am still looking for thsi VIN every time I find a 1983 for sale, I still have the title and an original key as I sold to a friend who never finished paying for it and later traded it away without the title.
Here is a pic of a Euro 1983 VF750F: black seat.
