Color change? :laughing6-hehe:

You are already lucky in that you have a choice... the good ole boys on this side of the pond don't have much to consider if waiting for a choice from Honda.

for the U.S. they're gonna mix together all the leftover EU colors and see what comes out....

Considering the slow sales, I don't think there will be any changes other than maybe to offer the European colors already in stock. I don't think they will be adding any additions to the assembly line for awhile.

It'd be great to have white and grey offered in the States.

Next week is the start of Intermot, maybe there will be new colours for the veefalo but somehow I doubt it. There have been sigtings of the veefalo in blue but that may have been a respray.
On the Dutch Honda website it says they will show new colours for the most prominent bikes in the current lineup.
It also says that during EICMA (starting nov 2) Honda will reveal 8 world premiers.

Quote

“We are not yet in a position to provide details as to what these products are; but we can confirm it will include a mix of exciting brand new models and also significant developments to existing popular models,” commented Harry Cooklin, Manager Communications (Motorcycles), Honda Motor Europe.

FLAT BLACK

Hey, I beat someone else to that answer.
#10
The candy apple red looks nice in the sun but can appear a little dull in overcast. I think the proper VFR red , R157 or what ever it was, would look interesting. it always beamed regardless of light conditions

This reminds me of a Henry Ford quote:

"Any customer can have a car painted any colour that he wants so long as it is black"

The Honda website mentions there will be a new colour: Darkness Black Metallic with Digital Silver Metallic.

I think this RWB VT is nice:

My favorite rendition of the new VFR1200F yet. :fing02:

Prefer the shinny black to flat black though, sorry Timmy.

While I'm still a bit so/so on the two tone, let me go on record saying it again "THIS BLACK BIKE IS PURRRRRRRTY!" :goofy:
#24
The black is not that bad looking..

But what I did see was the add on that site for Honda UK giving all the bag away for free right now, sales must be really low.

Honda UK
#25
It does look less ugly in Black.

Hump, bout time the 7th gen got the fastest color :goofy:
#26
The bikes should have come with all the stuff they are now giving away "free." I think Honda's sales would increase dramatically if they offerred the same program here.

BTW, I still like the red the best...

The black looks great, especially with the silver tank, which is consistent with the layer effect.

Is that an available color sceme on that bike or a photoshopped paint job?

Thanks,

Well me too then. Flat black is what drew my attention to the bike in the first place! :)

Nope, that is the Honda OE color for that bike . . . I kind of like it.
#31
Ok I know this is a discussion of colors, but...
Are there any info of any upgrades for 2011?
I read a 50k km durability test repert in a local bike mag, and seem the biggest issue is the dirt and mud the front tire is trowing up on the odo and ignisson key, and glogg the middle of radiator.
Front huddguard extender added ?

Don;t like the black at all in those photo's. A "REAL" photo might change my mind. Hopefully its got some glitters in it and its not straight solid black.
#35
I'm still waiting for the hot pink I saw in one of the photochop threads last year. But that's probably too girly; Honda wouldn't want to threaten anyone's masculinity after all.

Second choice, yellow! Like the yellow that was on the 5th gen. I liked that color a lot.

I think a pearl yellow simiar to the pearl red would look awesome

So far, I like the red the best.

Amazing how no matter what Honda won't get it right for everybody. I have a Yellow 5th Gen and love the color but can't see it looking right on the 7th Gen. :comp13:

While I've only once owned a black bike in the past, the black mock up above gets my blood stirring.
