So folks, my '02 is getting very close indeed to having brake rotors out of spec and unroadworthy. Rather than make my usual mistake and need things at the last freakin' minute, I figured I'd ask in advance.
I have no intention of rewarding Honda for their overpriced rotors. Given that, what other brands do you all recommend? I figure EBC is a good starting point.

How much does Honda want, that would be my first choice , in a mail order situation?
I'm running EBC rotors on my 4th gen - the "XC" series that look a whole lot like Kawasaki "petal" rotors (
URL). I'm happy with them, but I don't ride my 4th gen as aggressively as some, so someone else might be in a better place for comparison.
I put those on when the OEM discs got down to minimum service limits - they seem comparable to OEM in performance (but I have no hard data to back that up). They (the EBCs) were significantly cheaper, too.
