Well time for new chain and sprockets now as my chain is clunking, gets loose and tight all over and jerks me on the bike going slow.I decided to stay with the 17t front sprocket and that will be an oem from the dealer. Now for the back one,I decided to go up +2 in the rear in hopes passing will be quicker and off the line also.I didn't want to touch the front going down cause I didn't want the bike to scream at 75.I decided to go with the trick looking super sprox rear in a 45t.Looked them up and they said they stopped making the 43/45t for our vfr's.Man was I upset wanting one in the gold/black.Well I guess I'll have to find something else now BUT I'm staying away from the aluminum as the life span is not that great.Does anyone make a nice looking 45t. Also I will be buying a did gold chain.Any help would be great.Take care guys and rubber side down. Sparkyd31

Couldn't really find what you're looking for,but a coloured chain may off-set not finding a gold/black sprocket..........

You will like the +2 rear sprocket. This is the way the bike should have been geared from Honda!
You could also just get a rear that you like, and paint it whatever colours you want after you get it.
You could also get a sprocket from Sidewinder in whatever size you wanted. That's what I did for my Y2k. Not cheap, a bit dodgy customer service, but if you want a custom sprocket for a VFR, you don't have a lot of options!
Ciao,
Ciao,
Is this the sporcket that you are saying is out of production?
