With their free shipping (over $89) and current sale I found a set of Pilot Power 2CT to be $220 , pretty good price
Coupon good until 10-17, midnight
I gobbled up that one!
$273 for a set of Pilot Road 2's - the 120/70R17 and 190/55R17 combo for the Veefalo, 800's would be a bit cheaper even! Thanks for the tip!

10 bucks for a 6 pack...HS must be drinkin the good stuff!
I just recieved a 10% off mich, looks like old stock, not the quality i typically see out of MSstore.
Made in FKIN THALAND
no wonder they are cheap sale
Be careful of tire sales. I recently bought 2 sets of PP's that were over 1 year old. I guess they get back stocked and the manufacturer sells them by the truck load for cheap.
I had absoutly no problem with THE tires at first. The rear still has 1k miles left in it and it sux. I havent had any problem with traction under throttle, but while braking and downshifting it squirms around bad. I have had at least ten sets and this is the only set to do so.
Just a heads up to ck. the manufacturer date code. All tires have them. It is an oval with 4 digits.
EXAMPLE (4409) WHICH WOULD NE THE 44TH WEEK OF 2009. I SAW ON DATELINE OR SOMETHING WHREE THEY TOOK HIDDEN CAMERAS AND BOUGHT BRAND NEW 10 YEAR OLD TIRES. WHEN I BOUGHT THIS LAST SET I CHECKED THE CODE. THE GUY BEHIND THE COUNTER LAUGHED AND SAID HE HAD TIRES 8 YEARS OLD. FRESHER IS ALWAYS BETTER.
As it turned out my last proad2 rear was also from thailand, the front was from spain.
This tire just looks dated and not as fresh as normal.

Well, the tire performed great, so them chinese may not have the cosmetics down, but the tire does perform , I swaer this may be the best perfroming rear Proad 2 ive owned.
course I came off a Bt23 touring and a Ppower rear , before this ,
