Supposed to just take it easy for the first 100 miles. I normally try to progressively lean it over more and more too instead of just hitting the twisties and getting all the way over.
What they said..... I usually go do some laps at one of my local 4-leaf-clovers to work the right side...... then go to a large empty parking lot for my left side(church or schools are empty a lot).
The reason I do it that way instead of just riding a curvey road is I can get the heat built up better...... Since there aren't any dragons near by...
There are only a few companies that still use mold release agent. IIRC bridgestone does. You done need to take brake cleaner or sandpaper to the tire.
You dont have to ride easy for 100 miles. If you ride straight up and down for 100 miles the sides are still not ready. It's all about gradually getting to the edges.
I have my tires ready to go in 10 miles or less. You just want to gradually increase the lean. Dont go fulll lean into the first corner. Basically by taking it easy and slowly increasing lean, you want a part of the tire that is ready and a fresh part on the contact patch at the same time.
Just go easy, swerving back and forth can get the tire 80% scrubbed.
