cooling off

is an 86 vfr 750f supposed to have a electric cooling fan?
and on another topic has anyone used a dynojet carb kit.. any good? stage 1

make sure you use a hi flow filter with your jet kit or nothing much really happens. go for after market pipes too.

Dynojet will probably have the homework done already on what kind of jet kit you need for whatever you have set up (or plan to set up). Try shooting them an email. I was just recently enlightened to their database of known working setups, and simply blown away.

Will you share the location of this database? I looked on the website but only see the kit for this bike, not any kind of known setups for it.
My '86 came with Supertrapps on it but I assume stock jetting. I'm interested in the setup that would make the most of this exhaust.

I do not know where it is located. I'm sure if you get in contact with Dynojet they'll get you set up with the jets you need.

Yoshi, that was a Factory Pro kit that I installed. The kit came with a tuning guide sheet, which also included 3 sample setups that were the result of customer/installer feedback. It gave needle clip position, pilot screw position, environmental factors and more along with results.

Not sure if Dynojet also supplies this information.

remove the top of one of the carbs and remove a slide.. remove the needle.. if it has a clip and groves to move the clip position.. you already have a jet kit in there.
