vtr fork internals

Hi Guy's,

does anyone know if I can use vtr fork internals, instead of cbr600, I understand the vtr suffers from hydraulic lock on compression, so thought i might use the vfr750fv compression valve, reworked and the use top caps and rebound from the vtr ?

Hi Br,

the vtr firestorm has rebound adjustment, we have a guy here in the uk, that is renowned for his work on firestorm forks, i was wondering if i could use the internals from the firestom( rebound valve and adjuster rod and top caps) and use a revalved vfr compression set up.

yeah - I have traxxion valves with VTR guts. Theres no compression adjust, but there is rebound. (with VFR800 upper tubes and VTR lower legs) Works pretty well for a street setup. Its probly another option instead of the F3.

Hi - I dont see any reason you couldnt go that route.....

Hi F3 parts are expensive over here, and just thought, some riders here have gone with vtr front forks, to gain better brakes, I am not worried about upgrade on brakes, just want some control over rebound, so thought gold valves for compression and vtr rebound valves and adjuster set up into my vfr fork tubes and lowers, is this workable without too much messing.
