Found myself looking through some pictures of my riding adventures this past year. This picture put a smile on face and happy memories.

Morning day 2 of my adventure to 2010 texasmac in Franklin, NC.
Enjoyed a hot hardy ham and cheese omlet breakfast at Hankins Country Store located in the beatiful ozarks of Arkansas at the intersection of roads 7,123, and 16 as I recall.
Tasty hot food, friendly service, crisp foggy morning, great riding, what a way to start the day!

In '03 bought a '02 VFR and began group riding when our nest cleared out. Went from 2k mi per year to 16k per year for the last 7 years. Enjoy the freedom.

Here is a photo from a ride by Mt St. Helens, blowing off some volcanic ash.

I've been riding for a lot of years (won't say how long cause I'm an old guy). I just bought a 2007 RWB. And have been following this forum for a couple weeks. Now I realize how fortunate I am to find this brotherhood and can't wait to set up some longer rides. I appreciate the pictures very much as it gives me a taste of what to look forward to. Cheers! Two of my favorite shots from a previous vacation - I did a fly n ride to San Franciso, we rented VFR's and I ended up on a 5th gen.
Here we had cranked off about 2500 miles and were wonderfully satisfyingly tired. Stayed in this homey B&B. Molly was super nice. Somewhere in way NorCal.

Then on that trip I found my all time favorite road sign..... (Think that's a hint?)

I guess it's a bit funny that one of my favorite moto-pics isn't one of my VFR. It is a shot of my favorite riding buddy, Larry, that was taken in Sept. 2010 at a picnic area on the south end of Lake McDonald in Glacier National Park Montana. What good is a long ride if you don't have a best riding bud to share it with? - even if he is riding a VTX...

Welcome to VFRD! I'm just up the road if you want to get out and ride... Great bike btw, if I could fit one more VFR in the garage the RWB would be the one!

Good Friday, April 2, 2010 Vermont ride with snow covered Stratton Mountain in the background. Amy and I had a fabulous weekend with 70+ degree temps, even in the mountains.

Fall ride through the Adirondacks 10-09-2010 with our friends Jerry & Ginny(taking the picture) - Blackbird XX and Rich - V65 Sabre. We stopped at the "Giant Chair" just outside of North River, NY for this photo op. We rode routes with lots of high speed sweepers and of course, NEVER EXCEEDED THE POSTED SPEED LIMIT!

Highway 12 has sweeper after sweeper and great scenery. Canyon Chasers includes Hwy-13 to extend the overall distance to nearly 160 miles:

Not to take away anything from any of the people that I have met or hosted at my house this year through VFRD....

But this was the highlight of my year...... Lefty VanAuker taking an entire afternoon to show me around Route 66 in Baxter Springs, Kansas. I met Lefty in a nearly empty Subway sandwich shop... asked if I could sit with him to share lunch... and ended up with a tour guide for the afternoon.
