Throttlemeister

I'm looking to add throttlemeister to my 2007. Any suggestions on the best (cheapest) place to buy them? It almost seems that every place is the same price. Thanks!

I ended up just getting mine from the dealer. They had them in stock and plus, they gave me a 10% discount. :fing02:

If you keep your eye on the classifieds on here and vfrw, someone will have one for sale. I got mine from a guy on vfrw for about 80 bucks. Also, be patient and wait til something shows up on Ebay.

Ditto wrestler's good advice I did the same and saved quite a bit

I have a Throttlemeister that I bought for my 1200 DCT. I used it once, but t didn't work very well (presumably because Honda's fly-by-wire throttle keeps trying to outsmart it), and I put the stockers back on. Looking at Throttlemeister's applications chart it looks like you'd use the same bar ends (FT) and adapter kit (AHR2) as my 2010 does. My set is standard weight, with the black finish. I'd gladly sell it for $75, shipping included.

I've already sold my Throttlemeister, but thanks for the interest. I hope you find one somewhere else.

I'm liking my 1200 A LOT! It's exactly what I was hoping it'd be: Something better suited for long days in the saddle and extended trips than my ZX-9R was, but something sportier than my FJR was. And something that'd put a BIG smile on my face when the afterburners kicked in like I used to get from my ZX-9R. It's all of that, and more. I enjoy fiddling with suspension setup, and it's amenable to that. And I'm really liking the DCT. If it ever puts (or leaves) me in a gear I don't want, I just flick it into whatever I do want, but mostly I just put it in S mode and forget about it. It's a way more competent gearshifter than I am, especially on downshifts. Mostly, it's a bike I can just get on and RIDE and enjoy being on whenever the notion strikes. And I'm liking the VFR riders I'm meeting, both here on VFRD and out on the road. This is the perfect bike for me... :cheerleader:

Glad to hear you prefer the 1200 over the FJR. I was pondering between getting my 08 vs the FJR. Maybe I should have taken a harder look at the 1200 as well.
