so, I tried to find my reso thread but these 12 beers and Jim Beam won't let me. Anyways, this is what I've done to an 86 RWB 700. The front wheel cowl had faded from the original red to a light orange that...encouraged gagging. So....I took it upon my drunken self to paint it white and order some decals. CHEERS!

meh well

It isn't like I'm a pro or nothing. I'm using this as a guide, considering that I have about $500 into the bike (half of which is tires!)

and as the author states, KRYLON RULES!

I need to wet sand the base coat, add a final, and clear coat. I'm confident I will be satisfied :cheerleader:

Not quite finished yet but waiting for temp to get up high enough to clear coat in the garage

Get some VFR700F2 decals from Tapeworks and ditch the do-it-yourself ones.

White looks good. Now go finish the rest of the bike. Or at least redo the rest of the white like that. :fing02:
