I bought a corbin while I was in Iraq last year thinking out would cure the monkey butt. Over all of the "It's takes a couple thousand miles to break in" things I read while I was over there, that's not the case.
I put 5k on the Corbin commuting, touring, and in the twisties since I got back in mid June.
After much of the research I am going to create a dual density seat with a neoprene base and a rebonded foam top with a 5/8" think gel insert.
http://www.sargentcycle.com/csfoam.htm is a great template to follow for flattening out the slope of a seat.
I just can't find much on motorcycle seat cover material online. They say to use marine vinyl or Naugahyde but out here in AZ that stuff sucks and gets extremely hot.
What would you guys think about a either a think Neoprene cover or possibly a Water proof microfiber. Both are reasonably priced, waterproof, breathe, and resistant to UV damage.
I just am not sure how it would be in a seat configuration.
Just looking for some 2 cents and Ideas to throw into the mix.
