5 gen exhaust fit a 6th Gen.

Looking to revamp my exhaust on my 2006 VFR. I recently saw a 6th gen with a shorty 5th gen exhaust. Is a 5th gen exhaust comparable with a 6th gen? I understand the fact of the under tail exhaust difference.
I was thinking I would convert to one of the really short exhausts like a new gsxr has.

Yes, it's very doable to put some sort of shorty can right onto the stock headers.

You are rolling your own here, so it's only up to your imagination what can be done.

Maybe something like Toro has setup on his bike:

I would not mind a short can but that is not friendly at all

I wonder if the cans for the VFR1200 would fit.
They're certainly shorter.

yeah, the guy that owned that bike turned up for a group ride here a couple of years back, I haven't seen him since. Not only did it look stupid due to the size of the stubby pipe and the big gaps under the tail, it sounded crap too.
