Hey guys, has anyone ever tried to change the transmission ratios in the gearbox on a 5th gen? 1st and 2nd are the same on a sixth gen but 3rd through sixth are taller. I would assume because they went with a 16/43 final drive as opposed to a 17/43 on the 5th. Reason for asking is, if you went with a 45 tooth rear and changed 3rd through 6th you could get the low end pull in 1st and second and lower rpm for highway cruising in higher gears.
