Hello all,

Please help me, I've installed a PC3 and can't locate the O2 sensors to install the eliminators... even after reading Trace's O2 sensor eliminator how-to. Possibly they are in different locations than mine? I ride an 07. Thanks all,

Ryan

P.S. Im new to the forum, so far its great. Im a transfer from FZ6 forum. Got my 07 VFR last spring and am loving it! Especially the saddle bags

If you read Trace's thread, just follow the wires from the connectors down to the exhaust pipes. You can't miss 'em. Are you saying you want to remove the O2 sensors? You don't need to in order to install the elim's. Just separate the connectors and it's plug and play. I removed my sensors and replaced them with plugs, but it's not necessary.

If memory serves, I found mine on the left side of the bike.

What he said!!! :fing02:

The location is basically the same on both 5th & 6th gens and the connectors are just below or above the left crankcase cover!

Look at the exhaust pipe just a few inches before it enters the catalytic converter and you will see the O2 sensors where they are fitted to the pipe. Follow the wires from the O2 sensors back to the connectors. There will be a black and a natural coloered connector if I remember correctly. Unplug them and install the O2 eliminators to the portion of the connector coming from wire loom. Tape up the other ends and tuck them out of the way. :fing02:
