Brisbane Motorcycle Suspension shops

Hello,

Can any Aussies out there help with recommending a business in Brisbane (preferably northside, I live at Redcliffe) who can help me with modifying/upgrading my suspension? Initially I would like to get the front and back resprung to suit my weight. I have checked with the shop I normally take my bike to for services etc. but they want $1k plus just to supply and install the springs. I know next to nothing about this type of work, so if this is normal, then ok, but it seems a little excessive to me.

Yipes! For well under $1k you ship the parts to me for a full upgrade service! If there is anything I can do to help please let me know. I ship parts to Australia regularly so that's not an issue.

Vee, thanks for the contact. I get up to the Sunny coast a fair bit so I will check him out.

I was hoping $1k was a little off the mark, I just couldn't see that amount of work/parts in a simple spring change front and back.

I wonder if that included the labor to remove and reinstall the forks and shock. If so, that would explain a lot. It still sounds a bit high to me.

He's ok... was at Buringbah. Rear tyre exploded.
Lots of glowing responses for this man's work, not sure if he's big into suspension work, but def worth calling to ask about.
