Electronic Cruise control

Anyone used or looked into fitting something similar to this: http://www.motorcycl...asy_to_use.html ?

From the brochure it looks like it could make long distances a bit more comfortable & a little less expensive?

No prices on the site - I've enquired for a 2007 ABS model, will post it up when I hear back.

Got one years ago from Mccruise.com

Absolutely love it for the times when I have to slab it.

But I also have CTS in my right wrist, which was repaired, but still not perfect.

After almost 10 years, the handlebar speed control went south, and the Mfgr custom-modified a newer control pad to work with my older cruise module.


Could not be happier with their customer service, but agree with Josh - not cheap.

Agree on the Aussies at MC Cruise. My PC800 came with one, and they happily helped me trouble shoot it even though I wasn't the one that spent money with them!

not so great in the twisties, but then why would you want to use it then anyhow?
Only use it in a group ride, if you are the one in front :o)

If you can afford it, go for it !!!!!

Thanks guys, I see what you mean about not being cheap - just received a reply to my enquiry & for a 2007 ABS vtec its currently �789 supplied but not fitted.

Pricey, but by the feedback it seems like a quality product that will last years..........going to have to have a think!

Have to agree with the rest...MC Cruise customer service is outstanding. While the units are expensive, they are durable! I have had mine on my 4th gen for 6 years and 40K miles later it is still working like new. When, and if, I get rid of my 4th gen I will swap it to my 5th gen. However, reading how long the 4th gens last I might just have to order another one for my 5th gen.

I've thought about trying one of the CSS-100 kits but there is a lot "customizing" you have to do to fit it and get it working. The MC Cruise was plug-n-play with the exception of mounting the switch, servo and throttle butterfly connector. In all, took less than a couple of hours to install.
