Well if yours are already totaled, anything is do-able. There are full sets of the 5th gen stuff on e-bay for 500 bucks shipped from China. Or you can go Airtech, which I believe they have 4th gen fiberglass as well. Those will need paint, and you will probably need new stays. Those fairing stays only come from mother Honda. But if you are good with tools, you can probably get most anything to fit...see Fotomoto's bike with CBR fairings, and many others on this site that have done this as well.
Cheers!
Cheers!
Yeah, whats on bike now is not worth fixing, looked into airtech but after paying for fairings and paint i thought it would be worth it to customize above what a stock 4th gen has to offer, Have been looking around and am tempted to use the front skins from an e-bay seller of an NC35 and the rear subframe and skins from a CBR to show a little more tire. Any sugestions of what year to use as far as CBR?
Body conversions typically are not just a bolt on application. If you want good quality fairings for your 4th gen look up the Thurn stuff. It is a bit expensive but you will get what you pay for and it bolts on.
I don't think Airtech stuff is worth the money and time to get it right. I bought an inexpensive set of fairings for my VFR conversion and they required a lot of time to get correct but in this case I knew what I was getting into. Now that I know how to make the fairings work I will be buying either, Sharkskins, Armour bodies or Hotbodies if I need to.
Someone else will be along to express their opinion about Airtech... Just keep mentioning the word Airtech, it seems to have the same effect of chuming the ocean for sharks...
I used 05 CBR fairings for mine.

Well i'll start with AIRTECH>>> Called them up for a few questions and kinda got the feeling that they think if you order fron them that your the lucky one, and thats the only way to go. Well I realise that using NC35 and CBR parts is going to take some work but am up to the challenge and am deffinatly willing to spend the time to get baby back on the road without ordering straight bolt on parts.. But really what fun would that be anyway, I will be ordering some parts by the end of this week and will post pics of my progress. Think I'm gonna start with the rear subframe
