Carb Sync Problems

So recently i took apart my carbs and cleaned everything and i was attempting to bench sync until i noticed that one of my carb sync screw holes is slightly larger than the other ones so my screw isnt grabbing to tighten. Any suggestions to fix?

Screw holes? I don't think I understand.

Do you mean the lever-thing that is threaded for the screw to turn, and is linked to the butterfly?

I can't imagine that the metal in the lever would strip out, the screw is much softer metal than the threaded lever...

I have a rack of parts carbs but I'd love to see some pics...

Yeah, pics would be helpful to see exactly what you are talking about.

Silver solder a nut on the back side if possible !!!!!

You could use a screw the next size up and tap the hole for it.

are you reffering to the screw that goes into the side of the Intake port?
....and theres 1 for each cylinder?


If needed they are available from Honda.

I think he is talking about the throttle stop screws . The FSM calls them "synchronization adjusting screws" , but contrarily calls the special tool to adjust them a "pilot screw wrench".
