Well. My baby tumped over as I was taking her off the side stand and my clutch lever snapped in half. I might as well get something "cooler" and all that. Not looking at spending a whole lot because I was never going to replace the stockers.
My main worry is getting a right pair that'll work since we have hydraulics on both sides.
I got pazzos on the group buy we did some time back. They are great, but honestly, my buddy has the Chinese knockoff pazzos and I can't tell the difference side by each.
I'm thinking of getting the gold ones to match the front rotors. I was thinking black, but everyone does that and the red ones aren't always true red and there's plenty of red already on this bike.
I have the CHinese knock-offs from auctmarts. $65 with shipping. Foldable, adjustable, etc. Fit real nice an deasy and so far (about two months) they work well and feel fine. Definitely look better than stock so that is always a bonus.
I also saw TRW levers listed on Ebay a while back. They look like Pazzos but
even higher priced than ASV C5s.
Same here in the shorties. I actually wish I had bought the longer ones as it takes less grip pressure to pull in the longer the lever....oh well, still happy with them. I had Pazzo shorties on my old FZ1 and loved those as well and its nice to know in a tip over you won't go snapping them off like a long lever would (not that I'm in the habit of tipping my bikes!)
There's a theme here... all pro Chinese-knock off are non-members... and truthfully, there is a very good reason you don't want Chinese knock offs! You get what you pay for!!!

You do realize that the board crashed and all the posts that were prior to the crash lost the User Data, Avatars, Post Counts, Signature Information, ect. right?

hahaha that's awesome!
I got some and they are great, for now. We will see how they last as far as coating. The <<red>> is very much pink by the way so that's the only thing to watch for. I got some silver with black adjusters delivered for like 35-40$. You can't beat that and I no longer have cramps on my clutch hand because the lever is too far. Big improvement.
Oh geez. Knock-off user here. Quality parts so far 3 months in. Way more comfortable than stock and easier to adjust. Went for the shorts in red, and Yup in the right light its a bit pinkish. But for $45 I'm not complaining. Pic in my gallery if anyone wants to check it out.

You have to thump some people on the forehead from time to time. Gently, but a solid thump none the less.
Got the same Chazzos (CHeap A@% paZZO) for my 98. 42 bucks shipped. 2 weeks turnaround. 10 minutes to fit to the bike. Short ride says they are better feeling than the stock parts. Woooot!
They are supposed to pivot forward instead of breaking, but I think it depends how the bike lands. Maybe good for a tip-over but I've read people breaking them on the track. Good thing is they are replaced under warranty.
The main reason I got them was that they have a much wider adjustment range than the Pazzo or Chinese knockoffs.
Take a look at the website, but if you decide you want them, shop around. MSRP is $120 per lever.
I got mine from motomummy.com but their prices have gone up since I ordered mine. They let you mix long/short if you like. I stuck with longs since I didn't know what shorts would feel like.
@Rangerscott69 any chance you'd have a pic of the levers you fitted, thinking of getting some gold levers to match the wheels and tart her up a wee bit, thanks.
Which levers did you fit Skids?item number? looking at Bs-motoparts.com. gold levers/adjusters, foldable and extend in lengh to suit, around the 100 euro mark. dunno how usefull the sliding extending bit will be though.

They were ebay specials, cost around £20 each. Adjustable but not foldable. Really comfy and easy to get a good grip on.
Still have them on the 6th Gen but sold the ones on the 5th Gen.
What browser are you using? I was having the same problem, so I did a quick check; Firefox works fine, Internet Exploder doesn't do quotes etc. May be a settings thing?
