Diaphragms torn >:(

Does anyone know where to.get new carb diaphragms for the vfr700? Or are they even replaceable on that bike?

How many of them are bad? How bad?

I have no idea but I can tell you that mercury outboards use a large(ish) square diaphragm if you need to cut your own.

Well that's a real problem let me tell you.

You've been out in the garage, messing around with your bike, and only afterwards, discover that the Diaphragm has been torn.

Assuming it's an older one (85 ish?) you need the whole slide, at least that's how they came from Honda, about $100 each if they still available

there is a company in UK, can't remember the name, but they sell just diaphragm and instructions for replacing it, I think about $100 for a set of 4

I have some parts hoarded. Again, how many are torn? I'm not selling all my carb parts because I really like my own VFR700 and that's why I got the extras. Talk to me.

Buying a used set of carbs will be your best bet.

Hopefully Eddy will get back to me....the manual says to keep each diaphragm with its attached slide with the same carb. I dunno how important that is....
