Zero Gravity Double Bubble mounting tips?

I just bought a ZGDB for my 99 vfr 800,,I have read many threads about some of the 4 little tangs breaking off during mounting because of brittleness or whatever. I thought about warming them up slightly with a heat gun before the install but not sure. Anyone had any problems or thoughts on this issue?...Thanks in advance

Yea, take your time! Mine broke off and put about a 1/2" crack in it. I just super glued the crack and left the screen on with the remaining tabs. The wind screen works great but the quality does not compare to the stock wind screen.

It works best if you flex the whole screen to get the tabs in then slide it down to lock in the front. Take your time, and yes if it's cold it may help to warm it up a bit first.

I got it on in one piece with the help of my wife, an extra set of hands is definately the trick on these Zero Gravity windscreens! It looks awesome on the bike, very nice upgrade over stock oem.

Same here. No issues and nothing broke... yet :)

Mine went on without any issues and it was a ZGDB second, or blem, direct from ZG.
