clip ons

i just got  some clipons from a 93 vfr750 for my 99 it fits and the only problem is that the  thottle is sticking and i cant get it to losen up. i can move it with my hand back and forth but if i pull it back it stayes for a 1sec then moves back forward. ?  need any input thanks.

Did you carefully ine up the pegs on the throttle side switch pod to the holes on the new clip on bars? If not, you might have the switch pod pegs binding up the throttle action because the pod body can be warped after you tightened the screws under the switch pod.

yea everything lines up in holes . its just so sticky.

Try loosening the 'bar end weight--if you've got it installed--and see if that frees up the throttle. Whenever swapping out the throttle-side clip-on, it usually takes some finagling with the inner weight and the end weight to get them situated to where they don't cause the throttle to bind.
