Hey does anyone know where I can can find a set of aftermarket performance injectors?
I have a 5th gen VFR. I know 6th gen has 12 hole injectors. Do they fit a 5th gen.
The fifth gen does not have the 12 holes but they dont clog like the 6th gens either, are they leaking or somthing? Are you adding more power, there is no advantage to changing out injectors unless your modifing the engine? toro kit, big bore kit? whats the motivation for chaning them out
No, 6th gen 12 hole injectors do not fit, the dimensions are totally off in every way.
The only way to make them fit is to swap over the entire 6th gen throttle body assembly with injectors.
Toro made a set of aftermarket injectors fit his 5th gen, but he had to make custom split collars for them and chuck them into a lathe and turn them down.

I was just curious. I keep reading how improperly tuned injectors can cause loss of power, poor fuel economy and uneven heating resulting in engine damage. I have also been looking at getting tuned injectors that are with in 1% of one another to improve fuel economy and consistency.

I threw on an '07 throttle body on my 5th gen. Seems to work just fine. Just gotta adjust the cold idle now.
