Hi All,

Would anyone happen to know if the fork spacing (triple clamp spacing) on the 1990-1993 Honda VFR750 is the same as on the CBR600F2/F3?

Many thanks!

VFR750 measures 192mm; '95-'98 CBR600F3 and VTR1000F have the same (possibly also F2, NC29 and NC30...Hawk GT, but I've never measured them).  Good luck.

Ciao,

Much appreciated!  Thank you.

I have a 1993 F2 if you need some measurements from it.  You might have to help me so I'm sure to get what you want.  I've never done any type of rebuilding or swapping forks, etc.

Thank you, 2thdr.  I am using a CBR600F2 triple as part of a 41mm fork conversion I am working on, for my '84 VF500F.  I am using YZF600R forks (as they are a very close match to the stock fork length) paired with VFR750/700 rotors and F4i calipers.  I have most everything dialed in (custom top clamp has been machined) but haven't decided yet on the fender.  I was thinking to use a CBR600F3 '97/'98 fender but also have been thinking about going with a Third Gen VFR fender.  If the VFR fork spacing is a match I may give it a go.

Sounds like a very cool project..I'm always amazed at you guys that have the skill to rebuild bikes from a bunch of parts.  There is a member here, Sebspeed, that I think lives in New York and could be a great resource for you...Seb seems to be the bike building king around here...

Post up pics when you have a chance!
