...so I decided to go ahead and pull the trigger on a 7th Gen. Have put around 150 miles on it thus far so a little early for an honest opinion. I can say however, that the power is impressive (even with the drop in torque in 1st and 2nd everyone complains about)! I'm guessing over time it might become annoying, but honestly, unless I'm looking for it, I don't even notice it when taking off.

Now the question is, do I keep the 6th Gen or unload it as I doubt it will see much daylight this summer. Of course the wife is on the side of selling. I'm not sure I can do that though!

Obligatory photo...

Beautiful bike! As for the 6th gen, if it's not going to rock the boat and I don't HAVE to, I'm not selling anything!

Time to update your "In My Garage." I sold my 6th gen. I would never have ridden it and it made no sense to keep it. Good bike, but I don't need 2 street bikes that serve the same purpose. The 1st and 2nd thing took a while to bug me, then it bugged me all the time. No more! I installed the Z-Bomb. Congrats and ride safe.

I sold my second bike I couldn't stand to ride it anymore. 1st and 2nd doesn't bother me after 12k miles I just use a little more rpms but then I don't tear up the conners. Nice ride...[image: Posted Image]

I don't really wanna, but if I must, I'll take your 6th gen for a grand. But I'd really be doing you a favor............. :pinocchio:

Congrats on the new ride!!!!!

Congrats!!! Really, that was a great decision. Just let me know next time you have money burning a hole, I could use a new VFR1200, too.

Ride on!!!

Deal! I'll ship it to you for only $3000 more! It's the "slutty red" color like yours. Let me know!
